Good Morning Sue Ellen, I wanted to comment on your farm. I LOVE it. My husband and I thought we would go check it out, and see what this farm was all about. WOW, were we surprised. You have so many nice things, and it wasn’t like going plant shopping it was an experience! I think everyone in the world needs stop in just for a few hours and walk around. You have done such a great job , you should be very proud of yourself. We bought two trees and a few creepers. LOVE Em! The lady that helped us was full of knowledge and very friendly. ( Short gray hair) Your employees were all very nice. Pat and I were able to sit and have a beer while we talked about what else to buy. That’s the trick to get men to go plant shopping! Bloch’s Farm is one of the icons in Green Lake that I can remember from before we bought our first home in Green Lake. You and your business give the area so much beauty and sophistication. Bloch’s Farm is what dreams are made of. So, when the time came that we finally found our lot for our dream home, our instincts and intuitions said to call on Bloch’s Farm for design/build of the landscape and hardscape project.
Your staff began the project by spotting out the placement of our lake home, the removal of trees and the driveway and culvert placements. Dear Bloch’s Farm,
From start to finish, our slope improvement process was efficient and professional. We felt Bloch’s Farm representatives were enthusiastic about our particular project. They always arrived as scheduled (or if weather prevented that, they always called to reschedule).
Listening, a vital concept so often ignored, actually occurred ongoing with each Bloch’s rep we dealt with. They were able to work with in our budget, recommend a layout and selection of plant species for the areas, wait patiently for another contractor to finish the drain work, and get it all accomplished in fine order.
Such beauty! And to think we even considered planting it ourselves. It would have been our normal clumsy work in which roots may well have held the soil (our goal along) but the plants would have been our usual: invasive, unattractive and poorly laid out. Hmmph We are delighted we made the choice to have Bloch’s do the work.
Bloch’s artful arrangement of plant oozes of feng shui and invites peaceful, pleasant viewing. Every walk past the area evokes a new exclamation, changing each week: “Oh! Iris’s up! The cotoneaster has berries! Look at the size of those lambs ears! The asters are coming! The grasses are gorgeous!”
